Osei-Duro Theca Coat in Handwoven Indigo Ikat
Handwoven hand dyed indigo cotton from northern Ghana. Side slit pockets, slim rolled lapel. Loose fitting unlined overcoat perfect for layering. Model is 5'9" and wears a small. This textile has a rich history, and was traded across the Sahel as a currency long before colonization in West Africa. Stripweaving from northern Ghana is now primarily made into Batakari, a loose smock that northern men dance and twirl in. Hand dyed with natural indigo, ikat warp. Dry clean only.
