Osei-Duro Vesper Top in Natural Indigo
Hand dyed silk top with boatneck and long sleeves. Model is 5'9" and wears a small. This garment was made with natural Ghanaian indigo. As a precaution it should be washed separately or with other dark colors. We recommend you don’t use this product with light colored clothing until the indigo has significantly crocked. After 2-3 washings it should be safe to use with no significant crocking. The indigo dye that may come off onto other clothing usually will wash completely out. Enjoy your new Ghanaian indigo dyed product, there’s centuries of history behind it. 100% silk Hand dyed and sewn in Ghana Ethically made Osei-Duro garments are hand dyed and each piece is unique. Please note that print placement and hue may vary. We wash all of our indigo fabrics several times, but please note that our natural indigo pieces will crock. This means for the firs few wears you should expect some color loss. This tendency is a sign of authenticity in West Africa, and the blue is considered to have medicinal properties on the skin. If you feel differently, try soaking in vinegar salutation and drying in the sun.
