ABOUT ALPACA The alpaca is a long-haired domesticated South American mammal related to the llama. They live and graze on the level heights of the Andes at an altitude of 3,500 to 5,000 m (11,500 - 16,000 ft). The Designer
The duo behind Osei-Duro travel between Los Angeles, CA and Accra, Ghana to create their coveted line of hand-dyed and batiked women's wear. Founders Maryanne Mathias and Molly Keogh work with local garment workers and artisans in Ghana to create their collections, applying traditional techniques to each piece. Osei-Duro aims to support the local apparel industry, on both a large and small scale, in becoming sustainable.
