Schwanen's 1950s Loopwheeled Lightweight is knit in Germany on traditional loopwheel machines, creating a single-thread fabric with a soft hand and a lived-in quality from the very first wear. Rooted in a 1950s silhouette, it is tubular-knit with no side seams, triangle gussets under the arms, and a paneled crew neck. Garment may shrink 1-1.5" in length during first wash. This style runs small, please size up for the best fit. Due to the traditional manufacturing processes, this 1-thread fabric sometimes reveals so-called "calendar creases" in lighter colors. This uneven appearance is a characteristic of the loopwheel manufacturing process.
