Cowl necked sleeveless tank in silky velvet. Pair with straight legged pants for a sleek and powerful look. Sleek, functional, and seriously stylish: Brooklyn-based Nomia knows how women want to dress now. No surprise, then, that the brand has been lauded by status quo-defining publications including T Magazine, Vogue, and Style.Com. Designer Yara Flinn draws her inspiration from modern art, sportswear, urban culture and the juxtaposition of masculine and feminine. The result is a collection of unexpected new capsule pieces (silk basketball shorts, the perfect jersey midi dress) that will become the cornerstones of your day-to-day wear.

Founder Geraldine Chung focuses on curating the shop with unique pieces from young, emerging designers. With inspiration from contemporary art, street culture and menswear, LCD’s mission is to discover and support independent designers from all over the world with a like-minded attitude, unique point of view, and quality craftsmanship. Sounds like our kind of place. Plus, LCD collaborates with artists, photographers, jewelry designers and musicians so the shop is often stocked with exclusive products. Could this boutique get any cooler?
Established in 2007 as a collection of structural separates, NOMIA was built on a foundation of art and architecture. These principles secured the brand’s foothold as a utilitarian label with a tangible dose of artistic femininity—the best of both worlds. New York-based designer Yara Flinn has long been admired for her signature aesthetic, which is heavily focused on color-rich, original silhouettes brought to life with unique hardware. Taking inspiration from the city she lives in (Brooklyn), the women that surround her, and ‘90s-era street style, Flinn is a true, living embodiment of her designs.
