Less than 3% of Mapuche in Chile receive any education beyond high school, and roughly 1/3 live below the poverty line. The Power of Fashion: VOZ works with female Mapuche artisans in Chile and Peru to empower them financially, creatively and professionally. All fabric used is high quality natural and ecological fiber and is hand-dyed and woven, preserving ancient craft traditional to the artisans’ communities.

Using premium fibers that are hand-woven, VOZ Creative Director Jasmine Aarons partners with artisans in Southern Chile to create modern, artisanal fashions and accessories. VOZ empowers indigenous artisans and their communities financially, creatively, and professionally.
