Owner and founder Heather Favalaro created homme | femme in Ontario as a place to apply her 15+ of experience in the worlds of fashion and retail. The selection is curated through the lens of her personal style, stocking men's and women's clothing, home goods, and artists collaborations from contemporary, emerging brands with established names, limited edition collections and rare pieces.

Minimum was initially established as a small boutique in Arhaus, Denmark but evolved into a clothing line in 1999 when the first men’s wear collection was launched. Women’s wear was later added in 2007. Referencing the old adage that 'less is more', Minimum roots itself in practicality and simple, minimalist design. Streamlined silhouettes are made fresh and interesting with quirky patterns, an industrial sensibility and unique, trademark details such as quilting and crosshatching. Look for easy basics as well as bold, statement pieces that only Europe does so well.
