Slate is a fashion, home and wellness boutique in Edgartown, MA. Tucked away under a sunshine hued striped awning, our storefront offers a well edited and carefully curated assortment of established and emerging fashion designers, jewelry, home accessories and all-natural skincare products. We love puppies, people, blue jeans, fresh flowers, surfing, a good book and a gray day (every once in a while), year round white, lots of layers and helping our customers & friends define and express their personal style. We are open seasonally from April thru December. During the off-season we stay busy buying, traveling, reading, skiing and finding inspiration in all of these experiences for the coming season.

Veteran designers Emily Current and Meritt Elliott understand the value of a good female collaboration. Having been partners for almost 20 years, the two aim to bring a sense of authenticity and practicality to their collection. The combination ultimately feels like fashion recommendations from a friend that just gets you, with wardrobe staples like military jackets, pajama trousers, and tees that go with everything. There’s also a handful of ultra-flattering denim styles, because a reliable pair of jeans isn’t just good, it’s great.
