The Boutique
Nadira and Ryan Hurley, the founders of Vert & Vogue, met in 2001 at a Parisian men's boutique that Nadira managed. After buying an entire new wardrobe from her, Ryan mustered the courage to ask Nadira on a date. A year later, they were married and, a year after that, living in New York. Vert & Vogue is the child born out of this love story, a combination of Ryan’s passion for sustainable business and Nadira’s fashion savvy. Look for thoughtfully curated clothing, footwear and home goods.
The Designer
3x1’s New York City atelier boasts the largest collection of selvedge denim in the world, with 800 different fabrics at the ready. The people who manipulate that fabric into covetable jeans are all on site, too, a team of 24 at work sewing both collection and bespoke styles (yes: made to order jeans!). Behind the operation is Scott Morrison, who previously founded both Earnest Sewn and Paper Denim & Cloth — suffice to say the guy knows how to grow a denim brand.
