Fashion With Intention

Oakland is to San Francisco what Brooklyn is to Manhattan, so it's not surprising that it boasts a bunch of amazing indie boutiques. Oak Common is one of our favorite lifestyle shops in the hood. The cool, rustic space is always stocked with Ace & Jig, Objects Without Meaning, Dusen Dusen, Bridge & Burn and more for both men and women.

Founded in 2009 by Cary Vaughan and Jenna Wilson, ace&jig is a Brooklyn and Portland-based brand rooted in a shared love of textiles. They design custom yarn-dye woven fabrics in collaboration with Fair Trade Certified™ partners in India, crafting joyful, seasonless collections of clothing, accessories, and home goods.
