The Boutique
Era Style Loft is a Canadian based boutique, started in 2011 by Julie Andreas and Lauren Evans. Our flagship store is located in the historic Birks building in downtown Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. In 2019, era opened it's second location on 17th Avenue in Calgary, Alberta. The newest location, also in Calgary, was opened in November of 2020 in Aspen Landing. Our online store was launched in 2012, giving customers across Canada the opportunity to shop era. Era is constantly changing and evolving with the world of fashion. We continuously search for the best of the best. With a focus on style, quality and ethically sourced brands - we love bringing in unique, timeless pieces that fit into a modern woman's lifestyle. We are sisters, mothers, entrepreneurs and friends but it was our true love of fashion that inspired era. We believe in creating a timeless wardrobe of quality, well-made pieces that can move through your wardrobe effortlessly. We focus on building a capsule collection of pieces that can take you from day to night, weekday to weekend and everything in between. We thoughtfully curate our favourite pieces from our favourite brands for a wearable, approachable take on fashion.
The Designer
This trailblazing label is changing the game with jeans that look like classic denim but feel as comfortable as a pair of sweatpants. Founded in 2010 by Tim Kaeding and Lela Becker, every single pair is produced locally in Los Angeles. Before joining forces to launch their own brand, the pair came equipped with a ton of experience in the fashion and denim industry. Tim Kaeding worked for major companies such as 7 For All Mankind and The Gap while Lela was the former president of sales and marketing for Citizens for Humanity. The name ‘Mother’ was selected because of its cultural significance and is in tune with the brand’s cheeky culture. Flattering fits and flawless washes are just a few reasons this may just be the mother of all denim labels.
