A Peace Treaty’s Fall 2018 collection finds inspiration from the undeniably vibrant style of 1970’s Harlem and in the heroines of Brooklyn-based artist Mickalene Thomas. Paisleys get a modern update in bandana inspired layouts, tie prints in patchwork stripes, plaids, and abstracted animal skins are blended together to capture the fierce complexity of Thomas’s work. Utilizing various methods of craft to create these lush textures, the pieces include woodblock printing, screen printing and digital printing. Measurements 44" length
