The Boutique
Back Beat Co. is a 100% California born & raised lifestyle brand created by Isadora Alvarez. We focus on the usual suspects like easy, wearable tees and sweatshirts, and then we infuse vintage-inspired details done in a fresh and modern way. We take cues from old school California surf‘n’skate culture and combine it with whats currently going on in the streets. While we may be obsessed with classics, we make sure our collections has a little bit of what’s on-trend in color and shape. Our goal? To give you that effortless cool factor California girls are known for. Our promise here at back beat co. is that we consider every step and every thread, from sourcing to shipping. We want to be easy on the planet for easy wearing and easy living. We use “Low Impact” Fabrics, that are either recycled or sustainably farmed; our current roster consists of Recycled Cotton, Hemp (Our favorite!), Organic Cotton and Tencel. A lot of the fabric we use have been specially developed. We spend a lot of time sourcing new and innovative low impact fabrics - and sometimes we even have stuff specially made for us. All of our clothing are sewn ethically in Los Angeles and India. Our factories are personally vetted by our founder and we establish long lasting relationships with them. We tend to work with small, family owned operations because we like to consider them family as well. 90% of our knit fabrics are still being knitted by a mill here in Los Angeles. We ship only using recycled paper mailers or home compostable bags. Nothing is wrapped in plastic of any kind, even to our store accounts. Everything is done in house at our studio in Los Angeles by the rad humans that make up our very small team. We put a lot of love into your packages!
