80% Silk, 20% Merino Wool. Leslie Burchel-Fox uses all natural botanical dyes to create one of a kind wearable art. These lightweight super soft scarves are a blend of silk and wool. What is Eco-Printing? Eco-Printing is an ecologically conscious way of applying print and color to protein (silk/wool) and cellulose (rayon/cotton) based textiles. Without the use of powdered mordants - which are harmful to the environment, one-of-a-kind patterns are achieved through using materials that encourage the color and patterns to emerge. Onion skins and eucalyptus leaves help to create the basic pot "soup." Leaves, flowers, and other botanicals are placed on the fabric, rolled onto a metal pipe and boiled for hours. The results are always surprising, mysterious, and a treat for the eyes. #6 & #7 - 8x50 #8, #9 & #10 - 8x54

Fashion With Intention
Founded in 1986 by Bonnie Chapin, New York-based boutique Abigail Rose & Lily Too serves as both a tribute to her daughters--who put in shop time when not touring as folk darlings The Chapin Sisters--but a place for small, independent design, and thoughtful, well-made garments. Chapin uses her 30+ year fashion knowledge to source quality womenswear for a new generation.
