Founded in Los Angeles in 2017, Departamento is a luxury multi-brand retailer that explores relationships between the digital and physical. The shop functions as an evolving showcase for menswear, accessories, and footwear from fresh, exciting sporty and streetwear lines that draw inspiration from the city and culture. Inventory is also curated for its easy transition between editorial and daily life.

Bode’s limited-run pieces repurpose textiles from around the world for one-of-a-kind garments drafted from vintage patterns. Designer Emily Adams Bode, whose line debuted summer 2016 at NYFW: Men’s, is partial to quilts for both inspiration and technique. “Somebody spent months making those from scraps and they were, at some point, so functional and cherished,” she told T. “I’m repurposing that labor of love into a new piece. It gains a new function.”
