Something of a local gem, Still Life first opened their doors in 1984 on Victoria, BC’s historic Johnson Street. For over two decades Still Life was the city’s source for offbeat and emerging style. Located in one of the capital city’s busiest neighborhoods with a ton of tourist traffic, the boutique quickly became a shopping destination, attracting customers with their unique selection of vintage clothing and indie labels. Matt and Kim Jensen took ownership in 2007, breathing new life into the business and offering a modern POV. Curated with a laidback edit of clothing, accessories and housewares, this iconic shop is now nestled amongst a growing community of like-minded, locally-owned stores in Victoria and opened a second location across the water in Vancouver.
