Vancouver's Umeboshi (pronounced oo-meh-boh-shee) has built itself a reputation for offering shoes from emerging and established designers that quickly become coveted by cool girls all over the world. The boutique was founded in 2005 by Stephanie Gorrell who focuses on stocking unique, handcrafted wares. With the principle that every great outfit stands on a great pair of shoes, Umeboshi’s ideals stem from the appreciation of beautiful and functional design as well as a great respect for craftsmanship. We sat down with Stephanie to talk shop, shoes and style.
