The Newell hat has a tall straight crown and wide brim, flat 5-6" woven edge brim. Please note that the brim length can vary up to an inch. Sized XS (21 1/2") S (22") M (22.5") or L (23") or XL (23 1/2") and made Sisal straw. Please measure your head carefully before ordering and email shop with any questions. For custom sizing, write your head size in the notes when ordering. This item is made to order, please allow 2-3 weeks for production before shipping. The Boutique
Founded in 2009 and featured in the pages of Vogue, Creem and Bust magazines, Brookes Boswell is a name to know. The Brooklyn-based milliner’s hats and accessories mix functional detailing with a classic aesthetic. Each piece is meticulously crafted and individually constructed and made with only high quality materials. Think French grosgrain ribbon, natural Panama straw and gorgeous felt.
The Designer
Just when we thought we couldn’t love milliner Brookes Boswell any more, she launched her own boutique with a curated collection of like-minded labels. With designers like Caron Callahan, Correll Correll and Sara Barner, her shop edit is basically our dream come true. Brookes’ workshop is located in the back of the boutique, allowing customers to experience the design and work process of her eponymous hat line while discovering a range of emerging talent as they shop the store. The whimsical, light-filled decor of the boutique is the perfect backdrop to showcase the range of emerging designers that Boswell has curated.
