The Wakefield hat has a traditional fedora style crown, and a wide brim 4 - 5" woven edge brim, please note that brim length can vary up to an inch. The leather trim is a collaboration with our dear friend Sara Barner. It's made of english bridle leather and is hand cut and hand stitched. A very special trim detail. The leather is available in tan or black. The natural and tan straws will come with tan leather while the navy or black straws will come with black leather. Sized XS (21 1/2") S (22") M (22.5") or L (23") or XL (23 1/2") and made Panama straw that is handwoven in Equador with leather rope trim. Please measure your head carefully before ordering and email shop with any questions. For custom sizing, write your head size in the notes when ordering. The Designer
Just when we thought we couldn’t love milliner Brookes Boswell any more, she launched her own boutique with a curated collection of like-minded labels. With designers like Caron Callahan, Correll Correll and Sara Barner, her shop edit is basically our dream come true. Brookes’ workshop is located in the back of the boutique, allowing customers to experience the design and work process of her eponymous hat line while discovering a range of emerging talent as they shop the store. The whimsical, light-filled decor of the boutique is the perfect backdrop to showcase the range of emerging designers that Boswell has curated.
