Faceted Gemstone Necklace

A single stone reads across a graduated range smoky quartz shifting from pale, near-transparent tones into deeper, smoke-toned gray at its darkest. Faceted black accents punctuate the gradient at intervals, grounding the strand and giving the eye a place to rest within the shift. The effect is tonal rather than varied: one material, many depths. Knotted construction maintains spacing and allows the necklace to drape fluidly. The result is a considered gradient moving from light to shadow along a single continuous form.
