Set the table with the Azulejo tile plate, hand painted with colors of the earth. In small towns across Colombias desert and dry tropical forest regions, it is common to use clay tiles for the roof. From a bird's eye view, the variations and patterns created from old and new tiles stacked together create a stunning visual effect. Inspired by Zuahaza textiles, our hand-painted ceramics are a fusion of classic craftsmanship and contemporary design. To make this possible, we collaborated with two esteemed workshops in the town of Carmen de Viboral, a beacon of traditional hand painting of intricate motifs on white ceramic. Each piece is a testament to the artistry of the community and their rich heritage.
