Machus is a family owned, modern clothing boutique in Portland’s Lower East Burnside neighborhood. Their mission statement is simple: To curate a store with the most compelling designers in the contemporary men’s market. Often avoiding more obvious, larger labels, we selects upcoming, under-the-radar designers and mix them with iconic staples to create a totally unique shopping experience.

Designer Frank Delgadillo, who made moves with skate brand Ambiguous, and men’s fashion label, COMUNE, introduced contemporary brand Chapter in 2012. Drawing influences from its west coast lifestyle, the company works to create an affordable range of products in its premium apparel and home accessory lines. Whether it be architecture, skate, art, or the environment, Delgadillo lets the SoCal lifestyle inform the label’s designs, and while collections change with the design team’s growing set of interests and passions, the brand remains committed to a high level of quality and integrity, creating a consistency supporters and stockists can expect season after season.
