Wood has been part of the Comme des Garons Parfums DNA from the outset, and here perfumer Antoine Lie has pulled out all the stops: this is all wood, just like it says on the bottle, the notes melding through the common smokiness of incense, guaiac, sandalwood, vetiver and oud with a hint of musty patchouli, dried out by cypress and cedar, wrapped in the powdery, velvety muskiness of Cashmeran.
