Created by twin sisters Vera and Daphne, Correll Correll is a fitting exercise in duplexity– each handmade garment a dialogue between labyrinthine knits, gossamer silks, and a playful but precise sense of color and texture that reflects their twofold approach to making. The Designer
Identical twin sisters Daphne and Vera Correll are creating a bit of magic in their Lower East Side studio. Their contemporary women’s clothing line aims to challenge the norms of garment production by reinterpreting the art forms of dying, knitting weaving and crocheting with a focus on local suppliers and producers in New York City. Look for directional silhouettes and quirky details for easy pieces that make a statement.
