Ferm Living's Plant Boxes work in any room in the house and are perfect for more than just plants. Timeless and modern, they can also be used to store books and magazines, or stylishly organize toiletries. They are also a great alternative to a bar cart. They are designed to fit the small *Wire Basket Top* that will turn the plant box into a chic little table. Powder-coated metal. Wipe clean with a damp cloth. Great for plants with a suitable anti-rust treatment. They stand up to light outdoor use, but can rust over time. To minimize rust, we suggest bringing them inside in cold weather and emptying the container of any standing water. Woonwinkel is a Portland, Oregon based shop owned by two women with a passion for independent designers, simple forms, and gorgeous color. Yup, we have a thing for color. Don't get us wrong--we love all our colors equally--so gorgeous neutrals do have a place in our shop. But what we really love is luxuriating in the perfect blush bedding, or feeling jazzed by an eye-popping yellow ceramic vessel. Color can transform a mood and a home so we curate it with care. We carry home goods and gifts from all over the world, much of it created by individuals and itty bitty companies. We like doing business with the little guys because it means we get to work with real people--people who are brave enough to take an idea and make it happen without a giant safety net. People who go the extra mile to make sure their product is well crafted. People who know that having fewer things that are better made is the way to live. By the way, woonwinkel means “living shop” in Dutch.
