Sujani weaving is a rare double-cloth technique that creates soft, cotton-filled pockets woven directly into the fabric itself. Each square is hand-stuffed with cotton batting as it is woven, forming gentle puffs that give the blanket its signature texture airy, dimensional, and incredibly soft to the touch. These quilts are hand-loomed in the homes of artisan partners in Gujarat, India. Each piece takes over 14 hours to complete on a traditional loom, using knowledge passed down through generations. Today, only two families remain who master this technique, which dates back to the 1860s. Drape it over a bed, layer it on a sofa, or wrap it around your shoulders on a cool evening.
