Their cotton is grown from non-genetically modified seed, pesticide and herbicide free with sustainable farming practices such as crop rotation, biological pest control and composting. FAIRTRADE / All of Kowtow's cotton is certified by the Fairtrade Labelling Organisation (FLO). This ensures transparency in the production chain and protects farmers with a fair minimum price for their crop, as well as assists with community projects and empowerment.. DYES / Kowtow garments are all dyed using Global Organic Textiles Standard (GOTS) approved dyes which are free of hazardous elements such as nickel, lead, formaldehyde, amines, pesticides and heavy metals.
