ARO is a jewelry and lifestyle shop that seeks to bring together independent designers and artisans from around the globe with a unique perspective. Founder Leslie Hernandez named the Austin boutique after the Aro river in Venezuela, a place near and dear as she spent much of her childhood visiting family there. Her curation also has a personal touch, with a special focus on simple and delicate everyday pieces from designers like Kristen Elspeth, Alynne Lavigne and Winden.
