Cropped kimono top with attached sash that wraps around to tie in the front. Wear with wrap side in the front or back. Hole in the left side seam allows the wrap sash to slide through and tie on the other end. For Spring/Summer 2017: Available in lightweight Japanese indigo double gauze cotton, 8oz sea green hemp summercloth, and 5.5 oz European linen in rose. For Fundamentals, our year round collection: Available in 4oz ivory hemp/organic cotton or 4oz hemp/organic cotton in ivory with black stripe. Size extra small measurements: Length: 16" Bust: 38" Waist: 38" Tie length: 25" Neck to sleeve hem: 8 1/2" The wraparound top is a part of the Fundamentals collection, a seasonless style that's available year round. Care instructions: Gentle wash cool using mild detergent, tumble dry low heat. This item is made to order in our Portland, Oregon studio. Please allow 1-2 weeks before it is sewn and shipped to you.

Hi there! I am really interested in this top and adore this silhouette with versatility. I am not sure that I necessarily want to wear this as a cropped shirt all of the time/don't always want my midriff showing, so I am wondering (of course paired with the higher waist it looks great and solves my concern), but if I order a size up from my usual, (usually a small) and order a medium, would this help to bring the hem down, or just add space around the shoulders/elsewhere? Hopefully, this makes sense! Thanks for any guidance, I love your pieces! - Abby

Hi Abby! Each Wraparound Top size increases in length a half inch, so the medium is 17 inches long versus the 16.5 inch length of the size small. There is also an increase in width by 2 inches in each size, so it will fit a little looser but due to the wrap style, this is adjustable. Hope this helps - let me know if you have any questions!
