Almond-shaped toe flat slipper crafted from soft velvet with two western buckles, a cushioned calf leather insole and tonal leather piping. 8mm heel. Handmade in Italy. 100% Cotton velvet. Calf leather lining, insole and sole. These shoes run true to size. Le Monde Bryl simple but sophisticated styles are crafted by hand using only the finest Italian fabrics produced in some of the most antique mills in Venice, still working to this day. Closely tied to the city of the canals, the brand drew inspiration from the gondolier's friulane shoe reimagining them with a modern flair to create its signature slipper in 2016, followed by their classic Mary-Jane soon after. With a background in architecture, gemmology and jewellery, Le Monde Bryl founders Lily Atherton Hanbury and Katya Shifrin reinvented the shoes that would carry them "from meetings to museum openings - and everywhere in between" effortlessly and elegantly.
