SOTE | Spirit of the Earth springs from the strong belief that seemingly inanimate objects are vessels of spirit and meaning. In a world increasingly motivated by speed, ease, and technology, SOTE strives to create connective experiences through objects of adornment for body and space. We believe these vessels for storytelling are constant reminders of the values we hold dear. Based in Santa Fe, New Mexico since 1982.
The Designer
Designer Danielle Ribner founded Loup in 2009 as a tribute to her two favorite cities: Paris and New York. Her line of easy-to-wear, contemporary pieces are all designed and produced in New York's famous garment district, while the name comes from the French word for wolf. With a style that references the many different cultures within both cities, Ribner particularly cites Parisian art and style icons such as Brigitte Bardot and Jane Birkin as sources of #loupspiration. Shop the brand for girly pieces that are timeless with a vintage flair. Every piece is lovingly created with quality materials and exquisite craftsmanship.
