Freya Dress by Mara Hoffman. Column dress with sculptural shoulders and seam-stitched panels of color-blocked "popcorn" modal. Fitted bodice, tapered waist, and column skirt cropped at ankle. Crew neckline with rear button keyhole closure and elastic sleeve openings. Made from elastic lenzing modal finished with unique popcorn texture. 100% Lenzing Modal Woven. Made in India. TENCEL™ Modal is a brand of soft rayon made from Beechwood trees, grown mainly in Austria. As Beechwood trees grow, they naturally breed, eliminating the need for artificial irrigation and planting, thus resulting in a self-sustainable forest. The TENCEL™ Modal production process also recycles 95% of the production materials back into its manufacturing system.

The Designer
Mara Hoffman founded her label in 2000 after graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York City. Fifteen years later, the brand committed itself to implementing more sustainable and responsible practices. The company continues to focus on sustainable materials, processes, and production in order to improve and extend each garment’s life. President and Creative Director, Mara Hoffman, presents collections with a devotion to color, each inspired by and in celebration of women.
