Azaleas first opened its doors in 2002, in a small intimate space on East 10th street of the East Village in Manhattan. We are known for our unique selection of lingerie, year-round swimwear, clothing, and accessories, all with an emphasis on vetted classics, up-and-coming designers, and hard-to-find labels. Each piece is hand-selected by our all-female team, with careful consideration.

Mara Hoffman founded her label in 2000 after graduating from Parsons School of Design in New York City. Fifteen years later, the brand committed itself to implementing more sustainable and responsible practices. The company continues to focus on sustainable materials, processes, and production in order to improve and extend each garment’s life.
