Please Note, this is a Studio Sale Item and is Final Sale. All items in our Studio Sale Collection are offered at a discount due to item imperfection. Reason for Discount: Discoloration and fading on the shoulders. Please refer to imagery. About the Studio Sale Collection: We have set out on the beautiful challenge of making consistent a medium that is typically known for it's wildly varied outcomes. Although we are constantly striving for consistent results, due to the nature of natural dyes, we do have pieces that come out with dye discolorations, experience fading and/or have varying, minor imperfections. Historically, we have only offered these items through our annual Warehouse Sale. By bringing this collection online, we hope that we will provide a more complete picture of what working in this medium looks like, as well as bring this special, discounted collection to the hands of so many more of you than we are able to host at our Austin studio! This is a great entry point to the collection as we rarely hold sales and do not utilize the same seasonal markdown structure as most brands. This collection will constantly be updated, so check back with us to see what new arrivals are in store! The Designer
Miranda Bennett Studio is a collection of seasonless, plant-dyed apparel produced by an all woman team in the USA. They naturally dye their textiles in-house and release their elevated staples twice annually in capsule collections called Editions, each featuring a new, custom-formulated, botanically-derived color story. Their design ethos is based on thoughtful simplicity, with a focus on versatile, one-sized-fits-most shapes. Their locally-produced brand seeks to lighten their environmental impact by crafting plant-based dye formulas, being mindful of water conservation and textile remnant repurposing through their Zero Waste Initiative. They do not believe in obsolescence or fast fashion, rather, they believe in creating apparel that can journey with the wearer from day to evening and season to season.
