Since starting Salasai in 2006, New Zealand-based designer Kirsha Whitcher has become known for bold prints, soft tailoring and a languid aesthetic. Dark and unassuming, each season is crafted to be innovative yet timeless. With intelligent cuts often oversized and a meticulous use of color, the brand creates unisex pieces that compliment the form and command a style of genderless androgyny. Designer Kelly Watson, joined Kirsha in 2014 when the brand moved to Australia and now the pair is focused on developing Salasai into a lifestyle brand, using each season’s ready-to-wear print to create limited edition homeware pieces that are unique and timeless.
