Each rug is custom made by hand, and we are happy to work with you to make small customizations to color or specific dimensions. Rugs ship directly from Morocco via DHL Express and usually take 7-14 days in transit, depending on destination. You are responsible for any customs/import fees between your country and Morocco. care guide & faq Should I vacuum my rug? Vacuum your San Junipero rug regularly to maintain its beauty. Note: Your rug will not shed extra fibers on its own, however it is common and perfectly normal for your vacuum to pull up loose wool fibers in the first 2-3 vacuuming sessions. How can I clean spills? Spills or stains can be blotted out of the wool by adding warm water to the spill and blotting all liquid out of the wool with a towel. The water will help release the spilled liquid from the wool. If a stain remains, you can spot treat with a gentle, natural, wool safe stain remover. San Junipero rugs can also be professionally cleaned. Will I need a rug pad to prevent sliding? Since our rugs are made of 100% wool, they are dense and heavy, which means they will stay in place. You will not need a rug mat/pad underneath your San Junipero rug. How long will my rug last? Your rug is built to last for 30+ years, so it may be important to you to make sure your rug wears gently and evenly on all sides throughout the years. If possible, we recommend rotating your rug every 6 months for even wear, especially if one end of the rug is in a high foot traffic area or in direct sunlight.
