Founded in 2014 by Alyssa Lau, New Classics Studios is an Edmonton-based multi-brand e-retailer that merges classic and timeless design with social responsibility and environmental awareness through their edit of slow fashion brands. New Classics offers a platform that introduces, benefits and supports the creators and designers who are initiating the way for the slow fashion movement in innovative and unique ways, all the while committing to being as transparent as humanly possible about the brands and products they carry.

This LA designer basically had us at hello. Before she became a designer, Shaina Mote worked in many different roles within the fashion industry, from vintage buyer and pattern maker to creative director. Today she is the ultimate when it comes to versatile and timeless staples that are wearable yet undeniably modern. The functionality of minimalist, sleek design is combined with unusual accents and unexpected quirks that bring each collection to life. Natural, sustainable fabrics such as tencel, rayon, modal, wool and cotton are used to craft each piece. All Shaina Mote pieces are designed and made in Los Angeles.
