The Designer
What you’ve heard is true — slow and steady does win the race. Built on the belief that high design should be accessible to everyone, this New York label takes everyday classics and reimagines them into conceptual pieces that throw away the rules but keep their iconic status. It was created in 2001 by designer Mary Ping, first presented as a quarterly fashion diary and has now expanded out of traditional seasons. The collections are creative yet casual; timeless and timely. Ping is well immersed with thinking outside of the box — she works often with artists, graphic designers and architects, and also contributes to and curates exhibitions.
