Based in NYC’s Nolita, Tanya Sheikh and Ivan Gilkes opened doors on the new retail concept in 2014. Shop designers such as Steven Tai and Apiece Apart alongside emerging labels like Nomia and Nanushka.
The Designer
Your weekend mornings just got a whole lot cozier (and cooler) thanks to Vancouver designer Ryley O’Byrne. Since launching her collection of limited edition printed socks in 2010, Strathcona has grown into a full collection of leisure wear and objects. Each and every piece is painted, collaged, photographed or drawn by Ryley, making them completely original. The silhouettes are simple and easy, created with comfort, travel, and, of course, weekends in mind. Strathcona is designed for lounging, flying, dancing and dreaming.
