Kantha which means patched cloth is a 500 year old embroidery craft using a straight running stitch created by rural craftswomen with pieces of discarded fabric to make blankets. Since theyre made from discarded fabric, no new raw materials, dyes or water were used in their production, the pieces theyre made from have been kept out of landfills and the jackets/vests/totes are made to last, making them an eco-friendly choice.
