The “classic white shirt” has been a staple in wardrobes dating back centuries. Still today, we see shirting making its debut in a myriad of ways. If this article of clothing has had a place for centuries, then who says it always has to be created from scratch? What we haven’t seen is the creation of a second life for the millions of shirts that already exist within the industry. The Same But Different is exactly as it sounds. We take the most classic staple, and up-cycle it into something aspirational (and less wasteful) than your average plain white shirt.
The Same But Different was founded in 2018 by best friends, Sam Serafino and Alex Zyndorf, in the back of a pizza shop. The brand is built on a shared love of second-hand clothing, Panic at the Disco and a willingness and drive to do better and be better. They live and work in Bushwick, Brooklyn.
