Tinker Watches is a Brooklyn-based watchmaker dedicated to building beautifully designed minimal watches from the finest materials and components, without unnecessary features or superfluous detailing. This watch is made with a 42mm hand-polished 316L stainless steel case, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal, Swiss Ronda movement and vegetable-dyed Italian leather strap. - 316L Stainless Steel Case - Our cases are made with an extra low carbon steel often used in surgical instruments and marine applications due to its high resistance to corrosion. - Sapphire Crystal - Our watches are protected by a sheet of sapphire crystal. Known for its scratch-resistance and remarkable hardness (nearly as hard as diamonds). - Swiss Ronda Movement - Powered by the vibration of a quartz crystal (32,786 times per second) under current to keep incredibly accurate time. - Italian Leather - Our straps are made from high-grade Italian vegetable-tanned leather with a soft nubuck lining for extra comfort. - Bilingual Date Window - You say Sunday, I say Domingo. Take your pick with our bilingual date feature. - Faceted Case - Our unique shape looks like a circle from above, but is a hand-buffed icositetragon upon closer inspection.

As a team of mechanical engineers and designers, the Tinker team 3D modeled its idea, then bringing it to life with meticulous sourcing, scouring tanneries from the U.S. to Australia, factories in China that machine the highest-grade steel, and testing movements from Japan to Switzerland. After finding the best producers and materials, Tinker made the buying experience straight-forward and simple, with customer customization built in: You simply choose the size, strap color, and finish.
