New this season is Tsatsas' XS Tape Bag with grey nubuck exterior and smooth black leather interior. The XS Tape Bag is a structured modern clutch with unique detailing. The inside of the bag has a drop down pocket and closes firmly shut with 2 hidden magnets. What is striking about TAPE is the contrast between the actual bag’s severe geometric lines and the soft tapes that flow from it. Imaginatively knotted, these long leather tapes take on a life of their own – they break up the bag’s elegant clarity with their flexibility and their movement, allowing its users to grip it like a classic clutch bag or to hold it by its tapes in a more relaxed fashion. Handcrafted in Germany each bag is individualized by serial number. All Tsatsas leathers come from animals reared for meat production in Germany, with only smooth, open-pore hides utilized: the unique grain of each carefully-chosen piece determines its surface texture. What’s in a name? For this boutique, a whole lot of love. Elizabeth Jeffer started the business with her beloved grandmother Rosalind Tiger’s artistic spirit and style in mind. The online shop’s curated edit of travel-inspired wares is the stuff dreams are made of. With a keen focus on long-lasting craftsmanship and production, this shop is filled to the brim with amazing, hard-to-find labels. Elizabeth developed her fine eye for design and style early in life and honed it further at UC Berkeley as an art history major. After working as a sales representative for years she decided to make the leap and launch her own boutique in September of 2011 in New York City. After 20 years of living and working in the city, Elizabeth has relocated her boutique to California, the place she calls home. Blending her New York and California sensibility and combining her extensive sales experience with her love for fashion and design, you can count on Roztayger to seek out under-the-radar labels and rad new designers to love.
