You can use this as a wall hanging, a table cloth, a rug on a low traffic area, a headboard, over your favorite couch- the possibilities are endless with this beautiful textile! This mud cloth is 100% cotton hand crafted material woven originally in Mali, West Africa and dyed with indigo. It is handmade from start to finish by weaving strips of cotton fabric that are then sewn together and dyed using entirely organic materials. Handmade in Mali 100% Cotton Size: Approx. 38"- 45" wide x 63" - 68" long (Sizes may vary slightly) Weight: 1.00 lbs (approx) Indigo dye will run when washed. We recommend hand washing using ONLY Synthrapol in HOT water. Synthrapol as the afterwash keeps loose dye particles of dye in suspension so they don't stain other areas of the fabric. . Lay flat to dry.
