The Boutique
Established in 2005, One of a Few is a beautifully curated boutique with thoughtfully selected clothing, footwear, bags and objects from creative fashion designers around the world. Their location in Vancouver’s Gastown neighborhood is a must on every city shopping tour. You’ll find new labels and artists to love on each visit. We can’t get enough. Shop designers such as Rachel Comey, Apiece Apart, Building Block, Martiniano, Maryam Nassir Zadeh, Clare V. and more.
The Designer
It all began with a slip on inspired by the languid beach culture of Mexico. Vayarta is the brainchild of Uday Kak, Sarada Ravindra and Andre Wiesmayr. We seriously love the brand’s sleek, minimalist styles. Is it a slipper? Is it a shoe? It’s a little of both. Every shoe is handmade in Mexico out of high quality leather and the minimalist, unisex styles look polished enough to be office appropriate but are comfy enough to be deemed weekend worthy. Seriously, they will look just as cute with culottes and a slinky cami as they will with a pair of shredded jeans.
