Cropped sweater with button detail at shoulder. Made in EEC. 100% wool. French sizing. Model is 5'9" and wears a size 40. Driven by the idea that materials dictate the architecture of the garment, claiming their character, Belgium native Veronique Leroy develops a singular construction for each piece in her collection: slight intervals, subtle fragilities in the equilibrium, and a semblance of morphological unevenness. Worn with Veronique Leroy Velvet Pant in Camel.

The Designer
Veronique Leroy started as a doll designer. Not professionally, but as a kid with an insatiable appetite to make clothes, with dolls as her first models. From that small start came a move to Paris in 1984 to attend Studio Bercot, then on to a job with Azzedine Alaia before working as Martine Sitbon’s assistant and ultimately founding her own maison de couture in 1991.
