Based in Montreal, Wasted Effort is a line of handmade jewelry, meticulously crafted piece-by-piece by mathematician-turned-artisan, Marie Foxall. The venture initially began as a hobby before blossoming into a brand in August of 2011. Effortless with a subtle futuristic feel, the line is made using traditional metalsmithing techniques coupling sterling silver and brass with non-traditional elements like plexiglass. Minimalist shapes, clean lines and a focus on simple geometry ensure that each piece fits seamlessly into the wearer’s everyday rotation. The best part? The line is produced entirely in the designer’s East Van studio.
Aw yeah!
