Simple yet bold brass and aura quartz necklace. The natural, rough faceted quartz has been treated with titanium for an iridescent oil-slick of rainbow colours. It contrasts wonderfully with the precise geometric brass trapezoid from which it hangs. Brass snake chain & lobster clasp to close
Based in Vancouver, BC, Wasted Effort is a line of handmade jewelry, meticulously crafted piece-by-piece by mathematician-turned-artisan, Marie Foxall. The venture initially began as a hobby before blossoming into a brand in August of 2011. Effortless with a subtle futuristic feel, the line is made using traditional metalsmithing techniques coupling sterling silver and brass with non-traditional elements like plexiglass. Minimalist shapes, clean lines and a focus on simple geometry ensure that each piece fits seamlessly into the wearer’s everyday rotation. The best part? The line is produced entirely in the designer’s East Van studio.
