Grey Frayed Tweed Skirt by Yuhan Wang. High-waisted. Asymmetrical fringe hem. Front pockets. Slanted waistband with buttons. Yuhan Wangs Fall/Winter 2022 Collection "Venus in Furs" had multiple inspirations. The first is a book by Leopold von Sacher-Masoch, Venus in Furs which discusses the power dynamic between males and females and if womens powers come from men. Yuhan also referenced the excerpt from the book "Watch out, I have a large, very large fur, with which I could cover you up entirely, and I have a mind to catch you in it as a net." Yuhan also found inspiration from Mosuo women, a small matriarchal society living in South West China. Worn with the Black Hand Knitted Cat Jumper, Cat Printed Top, and Blue Lace Leggings.
