Hello! It will be a little small for the 13" and a text book. The bag laying flat measures 13 inches long and 12 inches wide. I would recommend taking a look at the Barrel Bag or the Buoy bags we have by Are. They have a more substantial base to them and may for what your looking for :) xx C&L
